Volunteer Opportunities
This is a growing list and will be updated often. We would have many opportunities to volunteer with our Wilder PTSA. Our volunteer committee would love to chat with you and find an area that fits your interests and passions and also meets your availability.

We have lots of opportunities for the 2025-2026 school year. Please email volunteers@wilderptsa.net if you would like to know more.
Co VP - Ways and Means: Plan and execute fundraising activities including Wilder About Giving (WAG), Family Night Outs, Wilder Swag, etc.
Co-Treasurer: Support budget management, signing reimbursements, meetings with Executive Committee
Newsletter: Review weekly newsletter entries, populate template and proofread
Book Fair co-chair: set up products, train volunteers, manage store front (runs for a week, plus set up and take down)
STEM Fair co-chair: plan event including student projects. Bonus include additional activities for families to participate in.
Photography Committee: Attend events and school activities to take pictures (phone pics are OK). Organize and manage school pics sent from room parents and families.
Webmaster: Update PTSA website content as needed; typically early in the school year and before major events
Reflections Art Program: Encourage students to participate and submit winning pieces to the school district. Bonus includes celebrating all participants
Membership: Promote purchasing of PTSA membership. Create a physical directory of PTSA members. Bonus: Create a digital directory (using existing Givebacks tool)
Spring Run Club
- Join us and cheer for our runners! Help pass out student cards and track their laps.

Howl Zone
- PTSA has made a space available as an alternative to recess where students can play board games, foosball, build Lego, ping pong, and so much more.

Recess Support
- With limited recess supervision, students are limited to where they can play. We welcome volunteers to play basketball, referee a soccer game or play tag with students during recess to help spread out our recess teachers which gives our students more space to play

WatchDOGS
- National program that invites guardians to join your student over the lunch period and support students as a positive role model. Volunteer Orientation required.
- You can choose the dates that work best for your schedule.

Wilder Wolf Mascot
- Be the star of the event and in everyone's pictures wearing our Wilder Wolf costume. We welcome middle and high school students as well as adults

24-25 Committee Chairs
- We would love to fill the following committees
- Social Media Co-Chair Help communicate PTSA and Wilder news through our social media channels
- Newsletter Co-Chair Help prepare and publish entries for our weekly PTSA Newsletter
- College & Career Week This is new to Wilder. We will bring in adults who can share a bit about their career. We would love to create marketing posters and display during the week.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Advocate We need a volunteer who is passionate about DEI who can share updates from the school district and be an advocate for the program
- Executive VP Assist our PTSA President and acts as an aide to the President and assumes duties as directed by the President
- VP - During School Enrichment Responsible for coordinating and overseeing during-school activities for students like Art Docent, Math Adventures, Run Club, etc.
