Help Build Stronger Thinkers Through Play!
Math Adventures brings playful math experiences into Wilder classrooms.
Once a week or once a month, two volunteers work together to guide half the class at a time. Students explore math in different ways: experimenting with ideas, trying different strategies, and solving problems together. Over time, volunteers get to know the students in their classroom — how they think, how they work together, and how their confidence and problem-solving skills grow.
You don’t need to be a math expert to volunteer — just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!

Help capture Math Adventures in action! Aim for groups of 2–10 kids, with games and activities visible to show the feel of the session. Please include only students currently attending Wilder, current PTSA volunteers, and current teachers. Please do not share your photos on social media. Thank you!

Please be sure to review the “Resources” section and connect with your volunteer partner one to two weeks before the session to choose a game.
