PTSA is excited to provide opportunities to enrich your child’s education beyond the school day. PTSA partners with teachers and local vendors to offer before and after school classes. For the 2026-2027 school year all enrichment (Teacher and vendor-led) will be coordinated by the PTSA. There will be two enrichment sessions this school year: Fall (late Sept-early Dec) and Spring (late Feb-early May).
Fall Enrollment: Opening Sept 14, 2026 at 8am
PTSA Membership Discount: PTSA members receive a $25 discount off each enrichment class.
Teacher Led Classes:
- Pricing is based on minimum enrollment of 12 students per class
- If more than minumum number of students enroll parents will be issued a pro-rated refund.
Want to enroll for free? Become a Chaperone:
- All classes require a volunteer PTSA chaperone to be present and CAN’T go ahead without one!
- A chaperone’s child will receive priority registration and free tuition for the course.

PTSA Enrichment Policies
- A volunteer chaperone must be present at each class. The volunteer chaperone’s child is offered priority registration and a full discount on the class. If you are interested in committing to be the volunteer chaperone please email enrichment@wilderptsa.net. If a volunteer chaperone is not found for a class, that class will be cancelled.
- There are no refunds for enrichment classes. The only exception is if a class must be cancelled before it begins. Refunds will not be offered for classes within a session that must be canceled due to LWSD closure (weather, etc.), building issues or lack of a chaperone. A teacher or vendor may offer a makeup class if a class is cancelled due to illness or a schedule conflict, however, a makeup class is not guaranteed.
- We don’t want anyone missing out on enrichment classes and scholarships are available. Please email the Wilder Principal, if interested.

Class: Rainy Day Dinner Club

- Description: Many a parent’s favorite class, students prepare and bring home a dinner entree for 4-6 in this popular enrichment class. Rainy Day Dinner Club aims to cultivate enthusiasm for cooking and build positive culture around food and nutrition. Student learn knife and food prep skills as well as food safety in this class. Vegetarian options available, all food is nut free but unable to guarantee gluten or dairy free classes or substitutions.
Class: Art Exploration

- Description: Students will explore different mediums and techniques in each Art Exploration class. Instructor Tara creates new lesson plans for each session so each class is new and exciting. Lessons are based on current local museum exhibits, local artists, famous artists, or techniques. Tara’s approach is prompt-based; she presents ideas and materials and students are free to interpret and create what interests them. There is never an end result students are told to make. Class includes one 3D project (clay, paper sculpture, quilling etc). Other project materials may include markers, color pencil, gel pen, sharpie, acrylic, watercolor, printmaking, collage, chalk pastel, oil pastels, mixed media and more.

Dive into the world of amazing experiments, from fizzing reactions to magnetic marvels, each class is packed with electrifying activities that will make you say, “Eureka!”. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to explore, experiment, and excel in science.

- Description: Learn to play violin, viola, or cello in this brand new enrichment class. This class is designed for students with less than two years expereince on their instrument. New students will learn the fundamentals of proper positioning, parts of the instrument, how to play notes and songs within the D major scale, and begin to learn to read music. Continuing learners will review and build upon their skills and learn new songs. All students will perform together in a concert at the end of the program. Students should come to the first class with their instrument in hand.

- Description: Calling all future doctors! Little Medical School – Little Doctor introduces students to the exciting world of medicine through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and engaging role-play. Students step into the shoes of a doctor as they explore how the human body works, learn about medical tools and procedures, and discover what healthcare professionals do to help keep us healthy. Throughout the program, students will practice real-world medical skills such as using a stethoscope, understanding vital signs, learning basic first aid, exploring anatomy, and discovering how different parts of the body work together. Each lesson combines STEM-based learning with imaginative play to make complex medical concepts fun and easy to understand. Students also develop important life skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, empathy, and confidence while discovering the many exciting careers available in healthcare.

- Description: Get the best of both sports with TGA Pickleball & Tennis! This combination program introduces students to the fundamentals of both tennis and pickleball through easy-to-understand instruction, skill-based drills, and interactive games that keep kids active and engaged. Throughout the program, students will learn essential skills including serving, forehand and backhand strokes, volleys, court positioning, footwork, and gameplay. Activities can be adapted for indoor or outdoor spaces, allowing students to build their skills whether they are at school, on a tennis court, or on a pickleball court. Along with developing athletic skills, students practice important life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, honesty, and perseverance while building confidence on the court. 5-Level Progression: Each player progresses through our 5-level program at their own pace. Our low student-to-coach ratio allows for individualized attention, meeting students where they are in their skill development.

AlgePros is a before-school math adventure led by Mr. Neibauer—educator, entertainer, and occasional voice impressionist. Students fuel up with a donut, then dive into a dynamic blend of 6th grade math concepts and 5th grade reinforcement, all delivered with humor, heart, and high expectations. Whether your child is a math whiz or just warming up to numbers, AlgePros meets them where they are—building confidence, sharpening mental math skills, and mastering everything from decimal operations to geometry (yes, we’re talking triangles, rectangles, and circles with a generous helping of π).
