Vision & Hearing Screening
Help support Wilder’s Hearing and Vision Screening! We’re looking for volunteers to help the event run smoothly for students and staff. Please review the roles and shifts below and sign up for a time that works for you. On-site volunteers must be approved through LWSD before the event; approval isn’t needed if you’re only providing food. Thank you for lending a hand!

Volunteer Lead
Set out breakfast snacks and coffee before volunteers arrive, serve as the PTSA point person for volunteers, keep track of cancellations/substitutes, and help with general coordination during the morning.

Screening Volunteer
Assist the school nurse and district staff with hearing and vision screening. Please plan to stay through the end of screening. If you are unable to attend, you are responsible for notifying the volunteer lead as soon as possible.

Savory Breakfast Snack
Bring a savory breakfast item for the volunteers and staff running hearing and vision screening. Drop off by 8:00 AM so the lead can set it out before volunteers arrive.

Backup Screening Volunteer
Be available to fill in if a screening volunteer has to cancel at the last minute. You only need to come to school if you’re called to fill in. Please contact the Volunteer Lead after signing up and provide a phone number where you can be reached on short notice.
