Double your support for Wilder, for free
Many employers will match the donations you make to Wilder PTSA, and some will also pay the PTSA for the hours you volunteer. It costs you nothing, takes about five minutes, and every dollar goes straight to Wilder students.
It’s free money for our kids
Your employer sets aside money for matching whether or not you use it. If your company offers a match, claiming it is the easiest way to increase your gift without spending another cent. Find your employer below, then submit a request in your company’s giving portal.
Matching works all year, including for donations you have already made.
Matching $$ Donations
Maximize your contribution with your employer’s matching program.
Every matched donation doubles the impact!
Matching Volunteer Hours
Turn your volunteer time into PTSA funds. Log your hours with your employer.
Your time is valuable, and so is your match!
What is donation matching?
When you donate to a nonprofit, many companies make a donation of their own to the same nonprofit. Most match dollar for dollar (1:1) up to a yearly limit, so a $100 gift to Wilder PTSA becomes $200. The extra money comes from your employer, not from you.
- Any gift can count. WAG donations, Wilder Shop donations and other gifts to the PTSA can all be matched. Some programs have a small minimum, often $10 to $25.
- It isn’t too late. Most programs accept requests for gifts made earlier in the year, and some until early the following year.
- Wilder PTSA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which is what most matching programs require.
What is volunteer matching?
Many employers also donate to a nonprofit based on the time you spend volunteering for it. These are often called volunteer grants or Dollars for Doers. For example, Microsoft donates $25 for every hour an employee volunteers, so ten hours helping at PTSA events can mean $250 for Wilder, on top of the help itself.
Time you give through the PTSA can count, including:
PTSA volunteering
- Serving on the PTSA board or a committee
- Planning and running PTSA programs
- Fundraising, including WAG and the Wilder Shop
- Newsletter, website and communications help
School activities
- Fall Carnival
- Heritage & Culture Night
- Movie Night and School Dance
- STEM Fair
Helping at school
- Room parent
- Art docent and art program help
- Library helper
- Staff appreciation events
Log the hours with Wilder PTSA as the organization. Some programs send the PTSA an email to confirm your hours, and a board member will approve it.

What about Meta and Amazon?
As of October 2026, neither Meta nor Amazon offers a standard employee donation-matching program, so there is no match to claim for gifts to Wilder. If that changes, we’ll update this page. If someone else in your household works for a different company, their employer may match instead.
Don’t see your company?
Thousands of employers offer matching. Search your company’s benefits or intranet site for “matching gifts”, “volunteer grants”, “Benevity” or “YourCause”, or ask HR. Some companies extend matching to spouses and retirees as well.
