  • Description: Students will explore different mediums and techniques in each Art Exploration class. Instructor Tara creates new lesson plans for each session so each class is new and exciting. Lessons are based on current local museum exhibits, local artists, famous artists, or techniques. Tara’s approach is prompt-based; she presents ideas and materials and students are free to interpret and create what interests them. There is never an end result students are told to make. Class includes one 3D project (clay, paper sculpture, quilling etc). Other project materials may include markers, color pencil, gel pen, sharpie, acrylic, watercolor, printmaking, collage, chalk pastel, oil pastels, mixed media and more.
