Wilder About Giving (WAG)

Wilder About Giving or WAG is an annual direct giving campaign to support the Wilder PTSA that funds core student curriculum, community events and enrichment activities to benefit students, staff and families. It's amazing all of the things the PTSA organizes- just check it out below!
Our goal this year is to RAISE $40,000!
 
These funds go directly to creating opportunities for your child to do their best learning and enrich their education. Without your financial support, enrichment programs will be curtailed and PTSA support of our staff and students will be limited. 
2024-25 funds collected for Wilder About Giving will directly support the following PTSA-sponsored activities:
  • Classroom Funds for Teachers and Specialists ($20 per student)
  • Classroom and art supplies
  • Stipends for Teachers, Staff and Aids to help with the parking lot, lead choir, 5th grade algepros and coordinate assemblies
  • Library Book Additions
  • Events including Arts & Culture Night, Movie Night, School Dance, and STEM Fair
  • Pride Awards and Positive Behavioral interventions
  • Scholarships for Wilder Students in Need
  • Inclusion Programming Support
  • Student and Teacher awards and recognition
  • Staff funds and teacher development
  • NEW! STEM Immersion Days: school-wide enrichment days featuring the Woodland Park Zoo and the Pacific Science Center

Donation Timeline

We will be accepting donations for Wilder About Giving through September 30, 2024. All donations by this deadline will count towards classroom prizes. 

Recognition

We are incredibly grateful for those families who are able to donate- big or small! Classroom participation will be tracked and the top three classrooms with the highest participation will receive fun classroom treats!  All families that are able to give ABOVE the suggested donation of $150 per student will be recognized as "Pride of the Pack" and be featured on a board displayed in our school and also recognized in our PTSA communications.
