Wilder STEM Fair
We hope your family had a great time. We were excited to see all of the projects displayed and students eager to show their families. There were a lot of different stations available for students to wander, experience and build.
This year we had 47 student projects and there were over 100 student and their families who joined in the event.
We hope this event helped grow curiosity in the world of STEM. Thank you to our wonderful PTSA volunteers that made this effort happen.
This year's STEM Fair will be held on April 18, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
STEM Fair is an evening that celebrates all the wonderful STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning at Wilder.

How do I participate?
- Encourage your child to think about science-related questions whose answers might be a description (What are the features of the sauropods?), an investigation (Which brand of chocolate melts the fastest in the sun?), or an invention (How can I prevent a banana from browning in my lunch box?).

What To Expect
Bring the Family
The evening STEM Fair will be way beyond student project viewing to include games, demonstrations, interactive activities, and lots more. All families are encouraged to join the fun, whether their child submitted a project or not. Winners of the student projects will be announced and awarded during the evening portion of the STEM Fair.

How can I help my child?
STEM Fair projects are a learning activity for students, therefore, parents should…
- help their child find a project topic that is personally interesting to them
- provide limited guidance and only help when necessary, and
- help plan a schedule so that the student can complete their project on time.

- It includes information on how to develop a STEM Fair project.
- There are resources to help find great topic for a STEM Fair project.
- It contains the guidelines for what is/isn't allowed.
