Value
The art element 'value' defines how light or dark a color can be. A color's value is on a scale. The scale is from the darkest of that color to the lightest of that color. A good example of value scale is shadow work in sketching. The darker the color the darker the shadow!
Additionally, the stain glass activity involved the students changing the value of their color by adding more white. If you look closely you can see value variation.
